The overload controller of a crane is composed of weight sensors and control instruments, which monitor in real time whether the weight of equipment such as gantry cranes, cranes, hoists, and electric hoists is overloaded during the lifting process, and respond to overloading actions. In order to better meet customer usage requirements, it is necessary to have a practical understanding of customer requirements before the production process to achieve a better user experience. Taking the WTZ series overload controller of Weite Electronics as an example, the procurement precautions are as follows:

1. Regarding the selection of DC24V, AC220V, and AC380V for the power supply voltage of the overload controller instrument. Before purchasing, it is necessary to confirm the power supply of the instrument for normal use, in order to avoid burning out the instrument due to voltage mismatch in later use

2. Control requirements: Several types of controls are required, such as overload, etc. Different instruments can meet different control requirements, and the corresponding model should be selected according to the control needs. The control relay needs to provide which state (normally open or normally closed); Expand applications such as RS485, 4-20mA output, etc

3. Sensor selection: Select the corresponding sensor type according to different installation methods on site, and calculate the sensor size using the corresponding formula based on the actual weight and magnification

4. Sensor cable length: provides the distance from the sensor to the cab to determine the cable length
